This position is responsible for supporting operations by managing the company’s most valuable asset – its people.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities

  • Lead member of the Culture Committee, instrumental piece of establishing positive culture

  • Assists with annual open enrollment including carrier changes and mid-year benefit election changes
  • Oversees maintenance of employee handbook, policies and procedures
  • Oversees HRIS usage & function, and other day to day activities

  • Maintains expert knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation to ensure organizational compliance;
  • Supports Production Manager with safety compliance

  • Develop human resources solutions by collecting and analyzing information; recommending courses of action, including new policies and/or procedures.
  • Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to managers including coaching, counseling, career development and
    disciplinary actions
  • Works closely with management and employees on morale and employee engagement initiatives

  • Supports Payroll Processor with timesheet preparation and Paid Time Off (PTO) approvals
