What Does the Coalition to Support America’s Heroes Do?
The Coalition to Salute America’s Heroes was established in 2004 as a non-profit, non-partisan 501(c) (3) organization dedicated to helping thousands of seriously wounded veterans from Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and Operation New Dawn. For veterans injured in Afghanistan and Iraq, the struggle to overcome challenges caused by those injures must be endured every day, so they provide aid and assistance needed for recovery.
How Does the Coalition to Support America’s Heroes Help?
The Coalition works through programs of aid and assistance. They offer individual contributors, corporations, and volunteers multiple ways to give back, and they’ve disbursed over $11 million in the last 5 years and many millions more since they first started.
Over two thirds of their own staff are combat-wounded veterans or their spouses and caregivers, and they’ve been named a Top-Rated 2017 Nonprofit by GreatNonProfits, which puts them among the best Non Profit organizations in the world. If you’re a veteran, the family member of a veteran, or a caregiver for a veteran involved in the War on Terror, contacting the Coalition can provide invaluable assistance.
